Anthony is the second frontcourt player in the latest Eastern Conference voting, released by the NBA on Thursday. LeBron James is first with 1,151,304 votes and Melo has 1,054,099.

The two are the leading vote getters overall in the Eastern Conference but Kobe Bryant is No. 1 overall with 1,177,456.

Anthony is the only Knick that would start for the Eastern Conference if voting ended today, but some other Knicks players crack the leaderboard as well.

Tyson Chandler ranks fifth on the East frontcourt list with 315,752 votes and Amar’e Stoudemire dropped is 11th with 104,109. In addition, Raymond Felton is seventh among Eastern Conference backcourt players with 77,123 votes.

If the voting ended today, the Eastern Conference starting lineup would look like this: Dwyane Wade (765,077) and Rajon Rondo (675,822) at guard, with James, Anthony and Kevin Garnett (390,751) in the frontcourt.

In the Western Conference, the starters would be: Bryant and Chris Paul (651,893) at guard and Kevin Durant (1,088,797), Dwight Howard (716,671) and Blake Griffin (593,824) in the frontcourt.

Balloting concludes on Jan. 14, and the starters will be announced live on TNT on Jan. 17.
