Buckets Over Broadway Staff:
Editor: Matt Shetler
Matt is the new editor of Buckets Over Broadway and come to B.O.B with close to 10 years in the sports media working for several newspapers and radio stations, mostly in the Pittsburgh area. Currently in addition to his new job with B.OB., he covers the NBA for other on-line sources including Bleacher Report. He’s a life-long Knicks fan and is committed to making B.O.B the best source for Knicks coverage. Follow him @buccos12
Lead Writer: Scott Davis
Scott has been a Knicks fan since watching Allan Houston hit a running jumper and the eighth-seeded Knicks eliminated the first place Miami Heat in the 1998-99 season. He has an irrational love for role players, second-fiddle players, and scrubs. The stress of watching the Knicks has already taken years off his life and risen his blood pressure to senior-citizen type levels. He also writes about the Knicks at his own blog, Knicks Now (nyknicksnow.blogspot.com). Follow Scott @WScottyD
Lead Writer: Greg Kaplan
A die-hard, lifelong New York Mets, Knicks and Rangers fan, Greg has recently found himself entrenched in enemy territory, living and working in Savannah, Georgia. He is the self-proclaimed founder of the Steve Novak bandwagon, and will do whatever necessary to travel come playoff time to see playoff basketball.
Staff Writer: Edwin Torres
Edwin is a longtime fan of the New York Knicks. He remembers when defense and rebounding actually meant something in the NBA. Edwin still enjoys playing the game, but will have to develop a mid-range jumper to extend his career. He is thankful for his economical, functional and extremely durable Starbury sneakers, but not much else from Stephon Marbury. Edwin is also a featured sports writer for the Yahoo! Contributor Network. Follow him on twitter @FlipPoker
Staff Writer: Jaron Berman
Jaron is a loyal New York Knickerbockers fan who’s been there for the good times, the bad times, the horrific times, the rebuilding years, the summer of 2010, and now the big 3. When he’s not doing color commentary for the American University sporting events or co-hosting the online AU Eagles Men’s basketball post-game show, he’s on his iPhone tweeting about the Knicks and the NBA. And whenever he’s in New York, it’s almost a certainty he’s at the “World’s Most Famous Arena” cheering for the Knicks. Follow Jaron on Twitter at @JB3RM
Staff Writer: Perry Skolnick
Perry grew up a huge Knicks fan in a time when The Knicks were a huge disappointment. After sitting through the Isiah years, he created his own website, wearenyk.com, and is very excited to write for B.O.B. He wishes to one day have as deep a vocabulary as Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier.
