The New York Knicks take on another huge game tonight when they visit the Utah Jazz. The Knicks have miraculously stayed in the race for the 2014 NBA Playoffs, despite how little they deserve it. Every time we’re ready to count the Knicks out — a blown lead to the Cleveland Cavaliers, two blowout losses to the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns — the Knicks put themselves back into it, most recently with an impressive win over the Golden State Warriors.

In the meantime, the Knicks’ playoff race opponents, the Atlanta Hawks, just keep losing games. Over their last 13 games, the Hawks are just 5-8. However, the Hawks have a good chance to keep themselves afloat with a game tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers (who did just snap their 26-game losing streak).

Here’s a look at the Knicks’ remaining games vs. the Hawks’ remaining games:

As can be seen, the Knicks face many more tough opponents. In fact, after tonight’s game against the Jazz, the Knicks face all playoff teams from here on out. The Hawks, meanwhile, only face five playoff teams for the remaining games.

So, with the race for the eighth seed coming down to the wire, do you see the Knicks making the playoffs?
