Hamilton heading to Houston instead (1:50 pm EST)

The Nuggets and Rockets have agreed to send Jordan Hamilton to Houston in exchange for Aaron Brookstweets Shams Charania of RealGM.com. The deal comes after it had initially appeared Hamilton would be on his way to the Knicks.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports puts the brakes on talks of a deal, reporting that the Nuggets are still considering several trades for Jordan Hamilton.

Cavs getting offers on Dion Waiters (1:41 pm EST)

At least one team has offered the Cavaliers a first-round pick for Dion Waiters, but a deal is nonetheless unlikely, tweets Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio.

The Cavs continue to receive offers for Waiters, but they’re still making it clear they won’t trade him.

Shumpert on the move? (1:37 pm EST)

Despite his knee injury suffered last night, Knicks guard Iman Shumpert could still be on the move.

If Shumpert’s MRI looks OK, he could be headed to the Thunder for a first-round selection or to the Clippers, tweets Chris Broussard of ESPN.com.  Of course, the scan must show that his MCL is not torn.

However Broussard just recanted that statement by saying Shump to OKC isn’t likely even if his MRI is OK
