Western Conference Standings:
Regular Season MVP: LeBron James
I think this will be LeBron’s best statistical year, which is very, very scary.
Scoring Leader: Kevin Durant
KD might average over 32 points when Westbrook is out. He’s in for a monster year.
Rookie of the Year: Ben McLemore
One of the most talented rookies in a weak class and will take advantage of open shots while Boogie Cousins gets double teamed in the post.
Bust of the Year: Zach Randolph
I just think the numbers start going down big time on him.
Most Improved Player: Greg Monroe
Has the tools to become an elite big man in this league and now has a team around him that will take defensive pressure off of him.
Defensive Player of the Year: Serge Ibaka
Serge comes into his own this season and grabs the award from a good pool of nominees.
Sixth Man of the Year: Jamal Crawford
Jamal will thrive under Doc Rivers.
Coach of the Year: Doc Rivers
I rank him the second best coach under Popovich and has a chip on his shoulder after the whole Boston thing. If he leads the Clippers as the best team in the West, he deserves this award. I expect the best statistical season from CP3 yet and a huge development on both sides of the ball from Blake Griffin.

Surprise West Team: Minnesota Timberwolves
If they stay healthy, they will finally turn the corner.
Surprise East Team: Detroit Pistons
Not many surprised in the East this season because it’s very predictable for the top 5 teams, but I think the Pistons size can give team major problems in the first round depending on who they play.
First Coach Fired: Tyrone Corbin
There’s no hope in Utah
Few Names that will/might be traded: Rudy Gay, Al Horford, Dirk Nowitzki, Ryan Anderson, Omir Asik
