The Pistons are trying to get back on the right path, but the question is have they done enough?

The Smith signing makes sense and the potential frontline of Smith, Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe is very intriguing, but Smith will be playing out of position at small forward and you really have to question whether or not he is the type of guy you can win with?

I love their draft as they got a potential stud in Caldwell-Pope, a winner in Siva and potentially the best athlete on the board in Mitchell.

The Billups signing is also a good move in terms of leadership.

They may not be a playoff team next season, but they are taking steps in the right direction.

Grade: B+
