Season Series: Chicago 3-1

How they matchup:

Points per game: 96.9 (17th)

Rebounds per game: 428 (1oth)

Assists per game: 20.3 (27th)

Points allowed per game: 95.1 (sixth)

Field goal percentage: 45.0 % (13th)

Three-point percentage: 35.7% (17th)

Chicago- 45-37

Points per game: 93.2 (29th)

Rebounds per game: 43.2 (eighth)

Assists per game:  23.0 (eighth)

Points allowed per game: 92.9 (third)

Field goal percentage: 43.7% (25th)

Three-point percentage:  35.3% (20th)

Free-throw percentage:  77.3% (ninth)

What to expect: The Nets are the only higher seed that lost the season series against their first round opponent. The Bulls are a tough matchup for any team, even without the services of Derrick Rose.

These are two of the better rebounding and defensive teams in the league and I would expect a physical battle and a long series.

At the end of the day though, I don’t think the Nets home court advantage will matter much as the Bulls are the more playoff tested team. The Bulls win the series in a mild upset.

Prediction: Bulls in seven
