New York Knicks’ superstar Carmelo Anthony is being featured in a three-part documentary being produced by Jordan Brand.
It is titled Playing for the City That Made Me and details Anthony’s time spent as a youth in Red Hook, Brooklyn, and his return to New York City as a member of the Knicks.
It also features former Knicks’ star Bernard King and rapper Nas, Anthony’s brother Justice and his mother Mary. ‘Melo gets very emotional in it when discussing why he is the only one to really ever make it out of Red Hook.
It is a real nice story where you get a look into Anthony’s childhood and into his time as a Knick.
The third part of the series hasn’t been released yet, but I will post it as soon as it does.
