Mike woodson’s team will open preseason play at Washington on Oct. 11, then face the Celtics in Hartford on Oct. 13. Next up is a trip to Montreal for a game against the Raptors on Oct. 19 and plays the Celtics at Albany’s Times Union Center on Oct. 20. The preseason will conclude Oct. 24 against the Nets at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island.

One week later, the regular season tips off against the Nets in Brooklyn, opening up the brand new Barclay’s Center.
