It was announced today that Jeremy Evans has replaced Knicks point guard Iman Shumpert in the Dunk Contest scheduled for this weekend. Shumpert was originally selected for the contest, but suffered a Knee injury over the weekend that will keep him out of action until after the All-Star break.
While it will be a little disappointing that the Knicks will not have a representative in the contest, Jeremy Evans is a very worthy replacement, and in my opinion, is now the early favorite to win.
