The New York Knicks are now enjoying a much welcomed 3 game winning streak thanks to their 107-93 victory over the Washington Wizards last night.
Again, Jeremy Lin was the story. Lin dropped 23 points on 9 of 14 shooting to go along with his 10 assists and only 2 turnovers. The Knicks also got big games out of Tyson Chanlder who has 11 rebounds and 25 points while providing some extremely solid interior defense;Landry Fields also pitched in with 16 point and 8 rebounds.
The Knicks also got a good lift out of their bench, highlighted by the play of Steve Novak and Iman Shumpert who combined to score 26 points and grab 9 rebounds.
Washington showed why they are one of the worst teams in the league, providing very little resistance against the Knicks offensive attack. The performance by John Wall was particularly disappointing as he allowed himself to get torched by Jeremy Lin who went undrafted the same year that Wall was the number 1 overall pick.
