According to Howard Beck of the NY Times, The New York Knicks have assigned both Jeremy Lin and Jerome Jordan to the Erie Bayhawks of the D-League.
This is the first time in franchise history that the team has ever sent anyone to the D-League–a minor historic moment, but a historic moment nonetheless.
The move itself is simply just to get those guys some run and keep them in game shape, which is just not happening with the Knicks roster the way it is thus far this season. Both players have been used sparingly despite some early injury trouble that the Knicks have had at point guard and power forward.
Jeremy Lin and Jerome Jordan have played in a combined 45 minutes in 11 games this season.
