While with the Suns, he was a very good player, since joining New York, he's become a great player. The Knicks have desperately needed someone to count on and Stoudemire has been it. At halftime, STAT only had 8 points, with a few coming towards the end of the 2nd quarter. When New York came out of the tunnel, there was little doubt he would drop 30 on the night. Even when he is struggling, you know he's going to finsh with a nice line. Exactly what New York has needed since Patrick Ewing left.
