From what I've heard, it seems like with Azubuike out right now that the starting 2 spot is Chandler's to lose, with Mason having the next best shot. So Walker's probably not gonna get it unless he has a phenomenal, phenomenal training camp.

In terms of my predictions for the season, I think I wrote it somewhere but I think from 38-42 wins, and perhaps the playoffs (in recent years some teams in the East have made it to the playoffs with just 37 wins, so it depends how strong/weak the bottom half of the conference is).

No surprise with Toney Douglas and Raymond Felton working together, neither Anthony Randolph and Amar'e Stoudemire. The Knicks are most talented at forward and blending Randolph, Danilo Gallanari and Stoudemire really is the key to the season.

The combo I'm curious about is Wilson Chandler/Bill Walker. One of those two has to claim the starting shooting guard position, Walker has shown flashes while Chandler is consistent but has a limited ceiling.

Playoffs is a possibility, but it's hard to picture the Knicks finishing higher than 7th.

What's your call for the Knicks this season, I think 37 wins sounds about right, just shy of the playoffs, some random team like Washington is going to sneak up on people I think.
