NYC Jumps The Shark, Launches “C’mon, LeBron”

It was one thing when the Governor of Ohio took time off to do a “We Are The World”-style video to persuade LeBron James to stay in Cleveland, but now Mayor Bloomberg has joined in on the race.  I guess considering President Obama himself has put in a pitch for the Chicago Bulls, it was only a matter of time.  NYCgo.com launched the official New Yawkers recruting LeBron to come to New York with their site “C’mon, LeBron.” I can’t decide if the title/slogan is tongue-in-cheek lame enough to be funny, or just, well, lame.  People can make their own videos, and of course should LeBron ever check out the site, he look up all the wondrous things the city has to offer.  Yeah, it’s kinda silly, but I gotta say this initial video featuring Bloomberg makes me excited about the city all over again:
