This is by far my favorite 30 for 30. I am glad some one finally made this into a documentary. I remember watching this live. I have it recorded on my DISH Network DVR and it looks great in HD. I actually even have it recorded on the DVR at DISH where I work.

I feel they also didn't go more sympathetic 'cuz regardless of whether one loves or hates him, a huge part of the appeal of Miller is his villain image. You can't be a Reggie Miller fan and not love his "evil" moments like when he does the choking sign. It'd be like saying your heart belongs to the 90's Knicks but you can't stand physical basketball. Who would want to see a story about a deformed, beaten-down Miller? It'd be like watching a James Bond film where 007 is scared of heights and has trouble getting the ladies. Reggie's a brilliant enough showman to be aware of this. He always knew how to give the people what they wanted. Well, at least personality-wise.

Championship-wise... both cities are still waiting.

I enjoyed this, Alex. I think what stopped the filmmakers from going even more sympathetic with Reggie is that Reggie was involved in the filmmaking. Never once did you hear about his leg deformities as a child or him getting his house getting burned down. I think he, and everyone else involved, wanted it to be about this moment that the Knicks and Pacers shared that we all look back on now, smile, and say, "that was amazing...outsiders have no idea how amazing that rivalry was. Spot-on take.
