Walsh appears confident in his approach to re-sign both David Lee and Nate Robinson. He expects Lee to sign for a 1yr/7mil deal and Nate’s worth roughly 1yr/5mil.
Both would be fine and don’t expect either to be in NY next season. I was open to the idea of locking up Lee long term, but with the Hill pick he needs to replace Lee and will take a lot less. Hill has a better upside then Lee, and will likely be paired with Bosh/Amare in the 2010 season, which has huge implications.
I don’t want to see this drag out any longer, so let’s hope Walsh wraps this up soon so he can focus on moving Jeffries and Curry.
