“I hope they do get LeBron,” Curry said. “I hope I’m here when he comes.”
Well, that’s cool and all Mr. Curry, but that sad truth that you will have to face is that you will be moved this season or next summer.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m really pulling for the guy. He just doesn’t have it anymore and even with the weight loss he still is grossly out of shape. He’s not going to function well in this offense no matter how hard he works. Curry has had to overcome a lot, and I applaud him for it. [...]

Eddy Curry ready to return?
Raja Bell is on the market
So the Bobcats are shopping shooting guard Raja Bell. Bell has played under D’Antoni before back in Phoenix and flourished. Since his move to Charlotte, however, he’s really dropped off and lost a step or two.
Expect the Knicks to get involved and pursue Bell for an expiring contract. Let’s hope Walsh can work some magic and trade Jefferies and/or Curry. Bell would be a nice fit in New York and contribute nicely.
Gallinari has played minimal minutes for the Knicks so far, but that didn’t stop Coach D’Antoni from speaking out on the back bothered forward.
“He’s the best shooter I’ve ever seen,” D’Antoni said.
Now most wouldn’t give this much thought, but as I read through that I was a little surprised. D’Atoni has been a coach on the U.S. National Olympic team, and comes across tons of pure shooters in the NBA, but Gallinari is the best in his eyes.
I found that to be very enticing and hope this is indeed true. Gallinari has a high ceiling, much higher then most expect. [...]
Nate and Lee both Re-Sign
Nate Robinson and David Lee have both resigned today for an undisclosed amount.
This comes as no surprise, but did take longer then most would have liked. Lee is a great player and Nate is a quality role player. What I’m most interested in seeing is Lee’s deal and whether or not Lee fires his agent. Lee tested the market and couldn’t find what he wanted so he re-signed for a lot less most likely.
Lee is going to be a free agent again next season, which likely means he’s heading back to the market unless Walsh gives Lee a big [...]
A report from Alan Hahn states that Robinson is going to sign a 1yr/2.9mil today.
This took way too long, but glad it finally got done. Hope you enjoy your last year in New York, Nate! Now, to get Lee signed so we can get this trainwreck of a season going.
Rudy for Lee?
A recent report has come out that included an interesting sign-and-trade that featured David Lee and Rudy Fernandez.
The Blazers declined the deal for obvious reasons, but that’s the important part here. Walsh finally showed some life and tried to rob the Blazers. Unfortunately for all of us Knicks fan the Blazers have the best GM in the NBA and would never accept the deal.
The Blazers are not moving Rudy, which is unfortunate because he’d flourish here, but that’s besides the point. The Blazers were willing to part with Travis Outlaw and Steve Blake. Both are average players at their [...]
Sun Yue is a Knick
Who? I’m sure that’s what most of you are probably thinking right now, but the Knicks front office has finally made a deal for the Lakers 2007 second round pick, Sun Yue.
The upside with Yue is he’s 6′9 and plays point. He probably will be in the d-league, depending on whether or not Nate signs.
The terms of the contract have not yet been released.
Well, this certainly came off as a huge shock. Not only did Sessions sign with a team where he’ll be a back up, but to a team who just drafted two point guards in the top 10 of this summers NBA draft.
Sessions signed for 4 years and will make roughly 4 mil each year during that span. Walsh was looking for 3.5 a year, correct? Well, I can’t say I’m surprised Walsh just messed up once again. This is just another instance where Walsh exposes how he really operates, poorly.
Not only does this decision not make sense for Sessions, but [...]
Walsh appears confident in his approach to re-sign both David Lee and Nate Robinson. He expects Lee to sign for a 1yr/7mil deal and Nate’s worth roughly 1yr/5mil.
Both would be fine and don’t expect either to be in NY next season. I was open to the idea of locking up Lee long term, but with the Hill pick he needs to replace Lee and will take a lot less. Hill has a better upside then Lee, and will likely be paired with Bosh/Amare in the 2010 season, which has huge implications.
I don’t want to see this drag out any longer, [...]
