Walsh not worried about next summer?

Posted by: Chase Thomas

Well, RealGM is reporting Donnie Walsh still has something up his sleeve and that likely means either Jared Jefferies or Eddy Curry is gone and hopefully Cuttino Mobley’s atrocious contract.

Less talking, MORE action

Less talking, MORE action

This might be nice to hear, but as you all know Walsh is not on my top 10 list for GM of the year honors and until he puts his words into actions I can’t take much from this other then he’s instilling hope into a franchise in desperate need of a move that will jolt this team back into consideration as just being a legitimate team in this league again.

I really do hope Walsh can finish unloading the contracts, but remember there is still one more season to be played before the summer of mayhem. So Mr. Walsh if you’re planning on unloading tons of expiring bad contracts please make sure you remember that this team will not attract anyone in next summers free agent pool if you don’t quality players to surround them with.

So, get rid of these expiring contracts, but please revisit the T-Mac deal and try and muster up some draft picks next summer; which we currently do not have.

            BallHype: hype it up!
