Nate and Lee for Rubio?

Goodbye?

Goodbye?

The Rubio sweepstakes appear to still be in works, according to Marca.com

It appears as though the Knicks are still interested in acquiring Rubio and with Rubio skipping the press conference today with the Timberwolves it’s quite clear he’s either going back to Spain or being traded.

The recent rumor floating around is that the Knicks will offer Lee and Nate in a sign and trade deal. I really hate this deal if that means we don’t get a frontcourt player in return because Rubio is not worth giving up the face of your franchise over the last few years. And with the Gallinari problems so far trading for another European player probably won’t sit well for Knicks fans.

Do you know how all this could be avoided? By drafting Gordon last year and Jennings this year.
